School canteens

Although we perform many other activities to benefit the community of Cajamarca (educational, social, health …) the creation and maintenance of school canteens is our priority;  not only because they overcome the dire situation of these children but also because they encourage their enrollment, involve their families and reinforce a culture of care and respect for the child. Parents take turns each week to prepare meals at school and teachers serve them in the classroom. Since we started this project we have seen an improvement in the health of many children who once suffered from malnutrition and easily contracted diseases that we have already forgotten.

Currently we serve 500 children in two schools each day. Can you help us feeding one more? 8 euros a month make it possible!
